How to prevent cable fire?

How to prevent cable fire?

  1. Ensure the construction quality, especially the production quality of cable end must be strict and meet the requirements.
  2. Monitor cable operation to avoid cable overload.
  3. Test wires and cables on time and deal with any abnormality in time.
  4. The cable trench should be kept dry, so as to avoid cable dampness, resulting in insulation performance decline and short circuit.
  5. Clean the ash on the cables regularly to prevent the spontaneous combustion of ash from igniting the cables.
  6. Strengthen the regular calibration and maintenance of circuit switches and protection to ensure their reliable operation.
  7. When laying wires and cables, keep a sufficient distance from the heat pipe, and the control cable shall not be less than 0.5 meters; the Power cable not less than l meters. Control cables and power cables shall be slotted, layered, and arranged separately, and overlapping layers shall not be allowed. Flame retardant and heat insulation measures should be taken for parts that do not meet the requirements.
  8. Install a fire alarm device to detect fire in time and prevent the cable from catching fire.
  9. Take fire and flame retardant measures.
  10. Use fireproof cables or fire-resistant cables.
